I let it turn until the front of the boat was lined up in between the red and green buoys. While facing out the window of the control deck, I pushed the lever on the left all the way forward and left it, then I pulled the lever on the right backwards and the boat started turning to the right. Now even after playing around with them for a bit I wasn't entirely sure which did what, so I'm going to explain what I did to control it. The next miscellaneous achievement we will be going for requires us to reverse this tanker into its dock. Climb up until you reach the control deck so to speak. Now hop off your boat, across the wooden platforms and onto the tanker. Use the row boat to get to the cargo ship in "Water" Once you reach the tanker, you'll unlock: If you have to turn or readjust, stop rowing and move the camera to the direction you want to go. Get in a good rhythm and row row row your boat all the way to the tanker in the distance. Use the video walkthrough if you're struggling. It is important you go straight up and straight down with both the left and right stick at the same time, otherwise you'll start to mess up. Now you need to move the right and left sticks straight down to lift the oars out of the water and straight up to displace the water and start moving. So make sure you're facing the rock tunnel in the distance. Move the right stick only and the boat should turn and face the way you're facing. Grab the left oar with your left arm and the right oar with your right arm. When I first did this I thought controlling this thing was horrible, but I figured it out.
